Account Executive (Accounting)

Job Title: Account Executive

Location: In-office

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

The Account Executive will support accounting functions for a range of U.S.-based clients. This role involves handling daily accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, ensuring accurate data entry, and supporting the firm’s overall accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organised, and knowledgeable in U.S. GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and handle expense reporting.
• Support payroll processing, tax documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Address client inquiries and assist with problem resolution in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the Senior Accountant to ensure proper accounting procedures and internal controls are followed.

Qualifications:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to U.S.-based clients.
• Familiarity with accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
