Accountant

Purpose of the Role:

To manage day-to-day accounting, costing, compliance, and inventory-related financial controls specific to electronics manufacturing operations such as PCB assembly, component sourcing, production, and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain books of accounts (Tally / ERP)
• Record purchase, sales, journal, contra, and bank entries
• Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
• Handle accounts payable & receivable
• Prepare monthly trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet

2. Cost Accounting

• Calculate product-wise cost:
• Raw material (electronic components, PCB, wires, connectors)
• Direct labor
• Machine & overhead costs
• Maintain BOM costing and job-wise costing
• Analyze:
• Cost variance
• Scrap, rejection, and rework cost
• Support pricing & quotation for customers

3. Inventory Accounting & Control

• Maintain inventory records for:
• Electronic components
• WIP (Work in Progress)
• Finished goods
• Track GRN, issue to production, and consumption
• Monitor:
• Slow-moving & obsolete components
• Inventory valuation (FIFO / weighted average)
• Coordinate physical stock verification

4. GST & Statutory Compliance (India)

• Prepare & file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)
• Handle input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation
• Manage E-way bills
• TDS compliance & returns
• Support:
• Statutory audits
• GST / Income Tax audits

5. Manufacturing & Production Coordination

• Coordinate with:
• Purchase department
• Production planning
• Stores & dispatch
• Ensure accurate cost flow from purchase → production → sales
• Track job cards & production reports for financial accuracy
