Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), GST (Goods and Services Tax), and proficiency in Tally accounting software. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with taxation laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with taxation laws and regulations, including TDS and GST.
• Handle all aspects of TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of returns.
• Prepare and file GST returns, reconcile GST liability, and ensure timely compliance with GST regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally accounting software.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports for management.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting and taxation laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Accountant or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of TDS, GST, and taxation laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Tally accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
