Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Accountant – Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage sales invoices, purchase invoices, Branch Transfer and credit/debit notes

• Customer and vendor account creation and master data maintenance

• Handle Proforma Invoices (PI) and Purchase Orders (PO)

• Maintain receipts, payments, and contra entries

• Track outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for collections

• Perform bank reconciliation and cash/bank book maintenance

• Manage stock reconciliation with accounts and stores

• Handle GST compliance – returns, reconciliation, and filings

• Manage TDS calculation, deduction, and returns

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing

• Support statutory audits and internal audits

• Ensure accuracy in accounting records and compliance with company policies

• Coordinate with sales, stores, and management for financial reporting

• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
