JOB SUMMERY

The Assembly Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing mechanical components and assemblies according to technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role requires precision, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety procedures to ensure high-quality production.

• Key Responsibilities
• Assemble mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
• Fit, align, and adjust components to ensure proper operation and tolerances
• Inspect finished assemblies for quality, accuracy, and functionality
• Identify and report defects, faults, or deviations from specifications
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled units
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow company safety policies and quality procedures
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet production targets
• Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong mechanical and technical skills
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic problem-solving skills
