AutoCAD Draughtsman

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draughtsman to produce detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing 2D/3D drawings based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers, ensuring precision, compliance with project requirements, and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software based on project specifications.

Revise and update drawings to reflect changes and ensure accuracy throughout the design process.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to gather and interpret design requirements.

Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and relevant codes and regulations.

Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and documentation.

Assist in site measurements, when required, to ensure accurate drawing inputs.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of design-to-implementation processes.

Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage workload to meet deadlines.

Conduct quality checks on drawings and support the team in design modifications.

Key Requirements:

Experience: 1–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, depending on the level of the position.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D drafting)

Familiarity with other software such as Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp (optional or based on industry)

Good understanding of technical drawings, construction standards, and design principles

Time management and organizational skills

Good communication and teamwork

Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure

Preferred Experience By Industry (Optional):

Civil/Construction: Floor plans, structural layouts, elevations

Mechanical: Fabrication drawings, assembly layouts, part modeling

Electrical: Wiring layouts, panel diagrams

Architectural: Space planning, interior layouts, façade detailing
