Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue & Growth
Own end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure
Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships
Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets like an adult
Upsell and cross-sell to existing clients without annoying them
Client & Relationship Management
Build long-term client relationships based on trust, not desperation
Handle key accounts and enterprise clients independently
Conduct client meetings, negotiations, and pricing discussions
Resolve objections without escalating every problem upstairs
Strategy & Market Intelligence
Analyze market trends, competitors, and pricing models
Provide inputs to leadership on go-to-market strategy
Help refine offerings based on real customer feedback, not vibes
Process & Reporting
Maintain accurate data in CRM systems (no ghost deals)
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates
Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams
Mentor junior BDEs because someone has to teach them reality
Required Skills & Competencies:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Deep understanding of B2B or B2C sales (as applicable)
CRM tools experience (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Thick skin, sharp instincts, and professional maturity
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in SaaS / IT / Data / Manufacturing / Real Estate / Solar / FMCG (customize as needed)
Exposure to domestic and/or international clients
Strategic thinking with hands-on execution
MBA or equivalent business experience (degree optional, results mandatory)
