Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical GPS Data Analyst to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to review and analyze bus kilometers (KM) and routes using GPS data to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• GPS Data Analysis:
• Collect, process, and analyze GPS data from buses to monitor routes, distances traveled, and adherence to schedules.
• Identify discrepancies in bus kilometers (KM) and routes, and investigate root causes.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by cross-referencing GPS data with operational logs and schedules.
• Route Optimization:
• Review bus routes to identify inefficiencies, deviations, or opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with the operations team to recommend route adjustments for improved service and fuel efficiency.
• Compliance Monitoring:
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to bus routes and kilometers.
• Generate reports on route adherence, deviations, and KM accuracy for internal and external stakeholders.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards summarizing GPS data findings, trends, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of analyzed data, reports, and action plans.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the operations, planning, and IT teams to implement data-driven improvements.
• Provide training and support to staff on GPS data interpretation and usage.
• Technology Utilization:
• Utilize GPS tracking software and tools to extract and analyze data.
• Stay updated on advancements in GPS technology and data analysis techniques relevant to the public transportation industry.
