Check and ensure the quality / palatability of normal food prepared for the patients are in accordance with the high standards maintained by the hospital.

Specific menus for patients who have been prescribed special food and nourishments, taking into consideration availability of seasonal vegetables and patient preferences, calorie and nutritional requirements.

Maintain required reports, records and statistics relating to the area of responsibility

Attend to complaints and suggestions from patients regarding food and take immediate remedial measures wherever required, in consultation and co-ordination with Facility In-Charge
