Electrical Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:·     

•    Lead and manage end-to-end execution of ground-mounted solar projects from planning to commissioning.
• ·        Oversee civil, mechanical, and electrical installation works at project sites ensuring quality and compliance.
• ·        Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower deployment, and resource allocation to meet timelines.
• ·        Coordinate with EPC teams, contractors, vendors, and clients for seamless project execution and issue resolution.
• ·        Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and promote safety culture at site.
• ·        Supervise and mentor project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractor teams to achieve project goals.
• ·        Review and verify technical drawings, layouts, and foundation designs in line with project specifications.
• ·        Monitor material movement, site inventory, and logistics coordination for uninterrupted work progress.
• ·        Conduct site inspections, ensure quality control, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• ·        Identify risks, highlight deviations, and implement corrective actions during project execution.
• ·        Coordinate with design and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and drawings.
• ·        Prepare and present site status reports, project updates, and MIS to management and clients.
• ·        Maintain client relations and ensure smooth handover and commissioning of projects.

Requirements:·        

• Strong technical knowledge of PV system design, layouts, foundations, and electrical balance of systems (BOS).
• ·        Proficiency in project planning and management tools such as MS Project, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• ·        Knowledge of solar software such as PVsyst or Helioscope will be an added advantage.
• ·        Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• ·        Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with capacity to lead on-site teams effectively.
• ·        Ability to work independently in remote or challenging site conditions.
• ·        Commitment to safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
