Job Summary

The Electrical Site Engineer is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing electrical works at the project site. The role ensures that electrical installations are completed safely in compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage on-site electrical installation works (power, lighting, ELV, earthing, etc.)
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other trades
• Ensure work execution complies with approved drawings, standards, and safety regulations
• Plan daily site activities and allocate manpower and materials
• Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly status to the project manager
• Inspect electrical works and conduct quality checks as per QA/QC requirements
• Prepare material requests, site reports, and as-built drawings
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site constraints
• Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems
• Enforce site safety practices and participate in safety meetings

Requirements & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as an Electrical Site Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and standards (IEC, NEC, local codes)
• Experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layouts
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in MS Office and basic project management tools
