Job Description
EXPORT DOCUMENTATION EXECUTIVE
About the Role
An export documentation specialist is responsible for supporting export activities, oversees preparation of commercial documents in accordance with SOPs, and handles recordkeeping requirements to support timely billing. He/she will be responsible to ensure that compliance related documents and KYC documents are maintained in an organized and centralized manner. This role will report to the head of the Exports Department.
Roles and
Responsibilities
- Prepare the export docs including commercial inv., packing list, coo, phyto cert., fumigation cert., e- way bill, analysis cert., weight cert., non-gmo cert.
- Prepare Import Documents as per country specific regulations including Proforma Inv., Commercial Inv. Packing List, Form 6, Form 9, Coo, No-war Cert., Inspection Cert., Analysis Cert.
- Pre-planning and prepare docs as per SGS & Bureau Veritas Inspection and also ECTN certificate. - Updating RFID seals
- Managing export-import container data and maintaining container-wise stock records in Excel sheets.
- Correspond with CHA for clearing docs and checking costing bill. All costing records maintained in Excel
- Negotiation of freight rates with various forwarders. - Planning container lifting based on manufacturing products.
- Preparation of pre-shipment loan (PCFC) docs for bank.
- Making export stuffing plan as per DO and send to the buyer by mail.
- Making pre-shipment docs and post-shipment docs as per LC terms.
- Monitoring duty drawback, IGST refund, e-BRC, RoDTep claim on ICEGATE and DGFT sites.
- Daily maintain export-import data in excel.
Requirements
· Experience with Export documentation knowledge
· Strong communication and writing skills
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office tools like Word & Excel
· Self-starter with problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. Additional diploma in Export-Import Management preferred.
3 to 5 years of experience in documentation profile.
