Role Description

The Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day workshop operations, handling transport and procurement and ensuring quality production and adherence to timelines. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining equipment, monitoring materials, reporting and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Changodhar, Ahmedabad, requiring consistent coordination with team members and management for efficient workflow and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in workshop management, staffing, planning, procurement, schedule, transportation and follow-ups.
• Experience in handling steel fabrication workshop, knowledge of machinery and their maintenance.
• Effective team leadership, staff supervision, and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices,
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Should possess basic computing skills of msoffice, email, google drive etc.
• Excellent communication skills, in Hindi, gujarati and english both verbal and written
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, Diploma / ITI with considerable experience also acceptable
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
