• What You’ll Do:
• Safely operate a large vehicle over long distances or local routes.
• Inspect: Check your truck before and after trips (tyres, brakes, oil) to make sure it’s safe.
• Deliver: Drop off loads at warehouses or stores and get the paperwork signed.
• Plan: Use GPS and maps to find the best routes and avoid traffic.
• Log: Keep track of your driving hours and rest breaks (usually on a tablet or app).

What You Need

1. The License: A valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
2. Clean Record: A good driving history with no major accidents or tickets.
3. Health: Must pass a basic DOT physical and drug test.
4. Reliability: You show up on time and can work independently without someone watching over your shoulder.
