  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements; maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee certifications, trainings, and expiry tracking; coordinate renewal or re-certification as needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation for separations, exits, and exit interviews.
  • Partnerships & Reporting
  • Act as the point of contact for employees on HR-related questions; provide timely guidance and support.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for leadership review (recruitment metrics, attrition, employment costs, attendance trends).
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of HR experience with a strong emphasis on HR operations, recruitment, and employee relations; experience in a lab or scientific environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with local labor laws, payroll processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage attendance, leave, and HR documentation for a small-to-mid-sized workforce.
  • Strong investigation, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS/attendance systems; ability to adapt to new HR software quickly.
  • High integrity, discretion, and a respectful approach to sensitive information.

Preferred Characteristics:
