HR Manager – IT Industry (POS System Knowledge)

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with a strong understanding of the IT industry, particularly in Point of Sale (POS) systems and related technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, implementing effective people strategies, and ensuring alignment between HR practices and business goals in a technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full employee life cycle — recruitment, onboarding, performance management, engagement, and exit formalities.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
• Partner with technical teams to identify and recruit talent specialized in POS system development, support, and deployment.
• Work closely with department heads to understand manpower requirements and workforce planning.
• Oversee payroll processing, attendance, and compliance with labor laws.
• Manage training and development programs focusing on technical and soft skills enhancement.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain a healthy work culture.
• Handle disciplinary matters, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution.
• Support management with HR analytics, MIS reports, and retention strategies.
• Ensure HR technology systems and digital tools (HRMS, ERP, etc.) are effectively utilized.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR within the IT industry (preferably in software or POS system-related companies).
• Excellent knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in HR software (HRMS/ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with organizations providing POS software, hardware integration, or IT-enabled retail solutions.
• Ability to manage HR operations in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
