Injection Moulding Machine Operator

Job Title: Injection Moulding Machine OperatorJob Summary:The Injection Moulding Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic components as per production requirements. The role involves monitoring machine performance, ensuring product quality, and following safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate injection moulding machines according to production plans
• Install moulds, adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, cycle time)
• Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth production
• Inspect finished products for defects and maintain quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to supervisors
• Maintain production records and reports
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished goods
• Follow safety guidelines and workplace procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Plastic Engineering (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in injection moulding operations
• Basic knowledge of moulds, materials, and machine settings
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in shifts

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with different types of polymers (PP, ABS, HDPE, etc.)
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Familiarity with quality standards and inspection tools

Working Conditions:

• Factory/manufacturing environment
• May require standing for long hours
• Shift-based work, including night shifts
