Junior Account Executive

Junior Accountant Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our financial department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting workflow.

• Key ResponsibilitiesData Entry & Tally Management: Maintain and update financial records accurately using Tally Prime/ERP 9.
• Voucher Management: Prepare and post entries for Sales, Purchases, Receipts, and Payments.
• Banking Operations: Handle day-to-day banking tasks, including cheque preparation and recording bank statements.
• Documentation: Maintain systematic filing of physical and digital invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Reconciliation: Assist in basic bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Compliance Support: Help gather necessary documentation for GST and TDS filings.
• Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Tally is mandatory.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Sum functions, and data entry).
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of the "Golden Rules of Accounting" and the ability to distinguish between Capital and Revenue expenditures.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry to prevent financial discrepancies.
