Mechanical Trainee

Role Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Mechanical Diploma freshers to join us as Mechanical Trainees. This is a foundational role designed to provide hands-on experience and kickstart your career in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will be directly assisting our Senior Quality and Purchase Engineers, gaining invaluable exposure to two critical functions of our product development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a proactive learner with a strong technical aptitude and a passion for applying their engineering knowledge in a practical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting the Senior Quality Engineer:

• Conduct inspections of incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet our quality standards and technical specifications.Perform dimensional and visual checks on in-process and finished goods using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Assist in preparing and maintaining quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.Support the quality team in identifying the root cause of defects and participating in corrective action planning.Help maintain and calibrate quality testing and inspection equipment.

2. Assisting the Senior Purchase Engineer:

• Help prepare and issue inquiry documents (RFQs) to vendors and suppliers.Assist in creating comparative statements to evaluate vendor quotations based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.Coordinate with the stores and production departments to understand material requirements.Assist in preparing Purchase Orders (POs) and tracking the status of material deliveries.Maintain organized records of purchase orders, supplier information, and other relevant documentation. You need to visit the vendor and provide the primary evaluation report to Senior Engineer.
