Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Plumbing Draftsman to prepare accurate plumbing drawings and layouts for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role involves translating design concepts and engineering requirements into clear, code-compliant technical drawings to support project execution.

• Key Responsibilities
• Prepare plumbing shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings based on design specifications and site conditions
• Develop detailed drawings for water supply, drainage, sewage, stormwater, and fire-fighting systems
• Coordinate with plumbing engineers, architects, and other disciplines to resolve design clashes
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable plumbing codes, standards, and project requirements
• Revise drawings based on design changes, site feedback, and client comments
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material schedules when required
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions
• Support project teams during construction and installation phases
• Qualifications & Skills
• Diploma or certification in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Plumbing Draftsman or similar role
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit MEP experience is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, symbols, and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Experience
• Minimum [1-5] years of experience in plumbing drafting (MEP experience preferred)
• Software Knowledge AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Revit MEP (preferred)
• MS Office
