About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- 🚀 Drive Store Sales & Profitability
- Own monthly revenue targets and push to exceed them
- Analyze daily sales, footfall, and customer behavior to drive growth
- Increase average basket size and boost customer loyalty
- 📦 Purchase & Inventory Management
- Ensure optimal stock levels and avoid both overstock and stockouts
- Maintain expiry tracking, category-wise rotation, and shelf availability
- Negotiate the best prices, margins, and payment terms with suppliers
- 🏢 B2B Channel Establishment
- Tap into institutional buyers: cafes, offices, hostels, and small businesses
- Build recurring revenue through bulk orders and subscription-like models
- Track and optimize B2B profitability and fulfillment
- 🧠 In-Store & Out-of-Store Marketing
- Run monthly in-store campaigns, festivals, and seasonal promotions
- Drive footfall through WhatsApp marketing, pamphlets, and local outreach
- Plan innovative customer engagement strategies like sampling or community stalls
- 🏘️ Society Activation & Local Branding
- Partner with nearby residential societies for group buying deals
- Conduct Sunday stalls, sampling drives, and referral activations
- Build your store’s local identity — make it the default grocery destination
- 👥 Hiring & Team Leadership
- Build and lead a reliable, honest, and efficient team
- Handle hiring, daily discipline, incentive structuring, and team morale
- Create a performance-driven but family-like culture
Who We’re Looking For:
- A natural leader with entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong with numbers, vendor negotiation, and local market dynamics
- Comfortable with both on-ground execution and operational thinking
- Humble, hungry, and hands-on — you’ll be managing but also doing
- Prior retail, FMCG, or store experience preferred but not mandatory if you’re the right warrior
