🔹 Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Java, and modern automation tools. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end test automation strategy, build scalable frameworks, and ensure quality across UI, API, database, and desktop applications.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, database, and desktop testing

• Own end-to-end test strategy including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, DevOps) to ensure quality delivery
• Drive shift-left testing and promote an automation-first approach
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
• Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain high-quality automation standards
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive defect resolution
• Optimize test execution time and improve overall test coverage
• Define QA metrics and build reporting dashboards

🔹 Technical Skills

💻 Programming & FrameworksStrong hands-on experience in Python (PyTest) and Java (TestNG/JUnit)

• Experience in building hybrid frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, BDD)

🌐 UI AutomationExpertise in Playwright and Selenium WebDriver

• Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing

- API AutomationStrong experience with PyTest, Requests, RestAssured, Postman

• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, microservices architecture

🗄 Database & Backend TestingStrong SQL skills (joins, complex queries, data validation)

• Experience in backend testing and DB automation
• Exposure to MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle

🖥 Desktop Automation (Good to Have)Experience with WinAppDriver, Pywinauto

⚙️ CI/CD & DevOpsHands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps

• Automation integration in CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker and containerized testing

🔧 Tools & Version ControlProficiency in Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)

• Experience with JIRA / Azure DevOps
