Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer with hands-on experience in CNC machines, servo motors, and drives. The candidate will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support of CNC control systems and motion control products at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, commission, and calibrate CNC controllers, servo motors, and drives.

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical, electronic, and motion control systems.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of CNC machines.

Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.

Coordinate with the design and application team for technical problem resolution.

Maintain service records, reports, and documentation.

Train customers on operation and maintenance of CNC systems.

Ensure timely and professional handling of service calls.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering.

2–5 years of relevant experience in CNC, motion control, or automation service.

Strong knowledge of servo systems, PLCs, VFDs, and CNC controllers (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Good understanding of industrial communication protocols (RS-232, Modbus, Ethernet).

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Willingness to travel extensively for field service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in machine tool industry or automation service.

Knowledge of retrofit projects and system integration.

Basic programming knowledge of CNC or PLC systems.
