Site Supervisor

Job SummaryThe Concrete Pump Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all concrete pumping operations on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification. The role involves supervising pump operators and crews, coordinating with site management, and maintaining high safety and quality standards during concrete placement.

Key Responsibilities:- Supervise concrete pump setup, operation, and dismantling

• Coordinate concrete pours with site engineers, batch plants, and placing crews
• Ensure correct concrete mix, flow rate, pressure, and placement sequence
• Enforce site safety procedures and exclusion zones
• Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and method statements
• Monitor equipment condition and report defects or maintenance needs
• Troubleshoot blockages, mechanical issues, and site access constraints
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations
• Train, mentor, and support pump operators and crew members
• Complete daily reports, pour records, and safety documentation

Required Skills & Experience:- Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator

• Experience supervising concrete pumping operations on construction sites
• Strong knowledge of concrete mixes and pumping techniques
• Ability to lead teams and communicate clearly under pressure
• Excellent safety awareness and problem-solving skills

Qualifications & Certifications:- Valid Concrete Pump Operator certification/ticket

• Construction site safety certification
• First Aid / CPR certification (preferred or required)
• Supervisor or foreman safety training (preferred)

Physical & Site Requirements: - Ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions

• Comfortable working around heavy machinery and high-pressure systems
• Ability to follow site access and PPE requirements
