Software Tester (QA)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of reliability, usability, and performance before release. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, document defects, and verify fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and/or automated).
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ensure software quality by monitoring key metrics and reporting test results.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Software Tester, QA Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Basic programming or scripting skills (Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
