Software / Web Developer Intern

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, coding, debugging, and testing software applications.

Collaborate with the development team on both front-end and back-end tasks (depending on full-stack / developer scope).

Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and document it.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Learn and adopt new technologies, tools and frameworks used by the team.

Work as part of a team, take guidance and also show initiative.

Basic Requirements / Skills

Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++.

Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and frameworks like React/Angular/Vue) for full-stack roles.

Familiarity with back-end technologies: Node.js, Express, Python/Django, Java/Spring etc. and databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub).

Good problem-solving ability, keen to learn and work in a team.

Preferred / Nice to Have

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) or CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of API development, deployment and debugging tools.

Prior small projects / intern

ships / GitHub contributions are a plus.
