Job Title: SolidWorks Designer / Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Designer to create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and product designs using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to develop accurate and production-ready designs.

• Key Responsibilities
• Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Develop detailed 2D engineering drawings with GD&T
• Perform design modifications and revisions based on feedback
• Conduct simulations (stress, thermal, motion) when required
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Ensure designs comply with company and industry standards
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility
• Maintain organized design documentation and version control
• Required Qualifications
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience using SolidWorks
• Strong knowledge of mechanical components and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards
• Experience with sheet metal, weldments, or surface modeling (preferred)
• Knowledge of CAM, CNC, or 3D printing processes is a plus
• Technical Skills
• Proficiency in SolidWorks Part, Assembly, and Drawing modules
• Experience with SolidWorks Simulation (preferred)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
• Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving skills
