Job Title: Store Keeper

Job Summary

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing goods, maintaining stock records, and ensuring proper storage of materials. The role ensures that stock levels are maintained efficiently and that materials are handled, stored, and distributed accurately and safely.

• Key Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices
• Record and maintain accurate inventory records (manual or computerized systems)
• Issue materials, tools, and supplies as per authorized requisitions
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile differences
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of items
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store area
• Coordinate with procurement and other departments for stock replenishment
• Prepare periodic inventory and stock reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Qualifications & Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is an advantage)
• Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Clerk, or similar role
• Knowledge of inventory management systems
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory software)
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (if required)
