Tax Assistant/GST EXECUTIVE/ MANAGER

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the role of Tax Head to lead and manage all direct tax-related and Indirect assignments within our Chartered Accountant firm. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of income tax laws, compliance requirements, and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for individuals, firms, companies, HUFs, and trusts.
• Preparation of GST Return Monthly, Quarterly and Annual returns
• Review and finalization of Tax Audit Reports (Form 3CD) in accordance with Income Tax Act provisions.
• Ensuring timely compliance with deadlines under Income Tax Act, including advance tax, TDS returns, and other statutory filings.
• Managing notices, assessments, and departmental communication with Income Tax Authorities.
• Handling tax planning and advisory for clients to optimize tax liabilities within legal limits.
• Coordinating with the statutory audit team and finalizing financials relevant for ITR filing and audits.
• Supervising and guiding junior team members on direct tax assignments.
• Staying updated with amendments, circulars, and case laws under Income Tax.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Direct Tax Laws, Indirect Tax, GST Audit and Tax Audit
• Proficiency in income tax software, GST Software and TDS utilities
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Team leadership and deadline management
