Taxation Executive

Job Title: Taxation Executive – E-commerce (DT & GST)

Role Summary

Responsible for handling Direct Tax (DT) and GST compliances for e-commerce operations, including filings, reconciliations, and coordination with internal teams and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Tax (DT):

• Preparation & filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR)
• Manage TDS/TCS compliance (returns: 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, 27EQ)
• Assist in advance tax calculation & payments
• Handle notices, assessments, and tax audits

GST / Indirect Tax:

• Filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and 2B reconciliation
• Monthly GST reconciliation (sales, ITC, returns)
• Monitor ITC eligibility, reversals & RCM compliance
• Handle GST notices, audits & departmental queries

E-commerce Operations:

• Reconciliation with platforms like Amazon and Flipkart
• Manage TCS reconciliation (E-commerce)
• Reconcile seller panel vs books, including commissions, returns & discounts

Compliance & Reporting:

• Prepare MIS, tax workings & reports
• Ensure timely statutory compliance & documentation
• Support internal & statutory audits

Requirements:

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter
• Experience: 2–5 years (E-commerce preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS & Income Tax
• Proficient in Excel & accounting software (Tally/ERP)
