Job Description
About the Role:We are seeking an energetic and skilled Telecaller for our Bank EMI Collection Process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to follow up on overdue EMIs, ensuring customers are informed about their payment obligations, and assisting with resolving outstanding dues in a professional and customer-centric manner.
- Key Responsibilities:Outbound Calls: Make calls to customers with overdue EMI payments, reminding them of their upcoming or overdue payments.
- Inbound Calls: Handle customer queries regarding payment status, pending dues, and other relevant information related to EMI collections.
- Payment Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up with customers for EMI collections and ensure they are aware of payment due dates, payment options, and consequences of non-payment.
- Negotiation & Resolution: Offer payment solutions, such as EMI restructuring or deferral, based on customer circumstances while maintaining a positive relationship with the customer.
- Documenting Interaction: Maintain accurate records of calls, payments, and customer issues using the bank's CRM system or collection software.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on collection status, customer feedback, and potential payment issues to the management team.
- Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by offering helpful solutions and providing assistance in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Compliance: Ensure that all interactions adhere to legal and regulatory requirements for collections as per the banking industry guidelines.
- Skills and Qualifications:Education: Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in telecalling, customer service, collections, or a related field is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to handle difficult situations and negotiate payment terms in a positive and effective manner.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to understand customer issues and offer appropriate solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately document conversations, payments, and any customer interactions.
- Knowledge of Banking Products: Basic understanding of financial products like loans, EMIs, interest rates, etc., is an advantage.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable working with CRM software, MS Office, and other communication tools.
- Desired Traits:Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Positive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset.
