Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end GeM portal operations, including product listing, catalog updates, pricing, and compliance with government policies.
- Search, analyze, and participate in tenders, bids, and direct purchase orders; prepare technical/financial bids and track statuses.
- Process orders, generate invoices/documents, ensure timely delivery, and follow up on payments with government buyers.
- 1-3 years of experience with GeM portal, e-procurement, tendering, and bid management; good knowledge of government tenders.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills for liaising with buyers and internal teams.
- Familiarity with product uploads (e.g., specs, images) and staying updated on GeM rules or changes.
- Technical SkillsProficiency in GeM portal for product listing, catalog updates, bid submissions, and order tracking.
- Strong MS Excel and MS Office skills for data analysis, tender documentation, and MIS reports.
- Knowledge of e-tendering, e-procurement processes, government tenders, and bid types (e.g., reverse, custom bids).
- Soft SkillsExcellent communication for liaising with government buyers, resolving queries, and team coordination.
- Organizational abilities to handle deadlines, follow-ups, payments, and compliance records.
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation, pricing, and regulatory adherence.
