Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, shape, and assemble metal components for machines, structures, or products.
- Welding: Apply various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Arc) to join metal parts according to specifications.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and codes to guide fabrication.
- Fitting & Alignment: Position and align parts accurately before and during welding.
- Quality Control: Inspect welds and assemblies for accuracy, structural soundness, and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintenance & Repair: May involve diagnosing and repairing existing machinery and equipment.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure equipment is in good condition.
