Job Title - ITI Welder

Job Type - Full-time | Plant Maintenance / Fabrication

Job Responsibilities

• Carrying out welding and fabrication work for textile machinery structures, frames, pipelines, and supports.
• Performing ARC welding, gas welding, and basic fabrication as per job requirements.
• Repair and maintenance of machine parts, brackets, guards, trolleys, and structural components.
• Reading and understanding fabrication drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Cutting, grinding, and finishing metal parts using appropriate tools.
• Supporting maintenance activities during machine breakdowns and shutdowns.
• Ensuring proper weld quality, strength, and finishing as per safety and quality norms.
• Coordinating with fitter and maintenance teams for joint repair activities.
• Following industrial safety practices, PPE usage, and fire safety norms.
• Maintaining welding tools, machines, and consumables in good condition.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: ITI Welder (NCVT / SCVT)

• Experience:
• Freshers or
• 1–5 years of experience in textile / manufacturing / heavy engineering industry preferred
• Gender: Male (as per shop-floor requirements)
• Age: As per company norms

Skills Required

• Hands-on experience in ARC welding (Gas welding knowledge preferred)
• Basic fabrication and metal cutting skills
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and measurements
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts (8 / 12 hours)

Working Conditions

• Shifts: 8 Hours / 12 Hours (Rotational)
• Working Days: 26 Days per month
• Overtime: As per company policy
