Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fitter to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair metal structures and components. The candidate should be able to read technical drawings and ensure high-quality workmanship while following safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using tools and machinery
• Perform welding using techniques such as MIG, TIG, or Arc welding
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects
• Ensure proper alignment and fitting of components
• Operate fabrication tools like grinders, drills, and cutting machines
• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fitting, or related field
• Proven experience as a welder or fitter
• Knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, Arc)
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Physical stamina and ability to work in industrial environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in welding (e.g., ASME, AWS)
• Experience in fabrication or heavy engineering industries
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and PPE usage

Working Conditions:

• Factory/workshop environment
• May involve standing for long hours and lifting heavy materials
• Exposure to heat, sparks, and noise
