Job Title: WordPress Backend Developer

Experience: 1–4 Years

• Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Customize WordPress core functionalities as per business requirements
• Work with PHP, MySQL, and WordPress REST APIs
• Manage custom post types, taxonomies, and meta fields
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools (CRM, payment gateways, marketing tools, etc.)
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
• Handle backend logic, data flow, and database queries
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and QA teams
• Ensure code quality, version control, and best coding practices
• Maintain documentation for developed features and integrations

• Required Skills & Qualifications
• 1–4 years of experience in WordPress backend development
• Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL
• In-depth knowledge of WordPress core, hooks (actions & filters)
• Experience with custom plugin development
• Familiarity with WordPress REST API
• Experience with WooCommerce (customization & backend logic)
• Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization
• Experience using Git or any version control system
• Understanding of basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
