Account Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive with expertise in SAP Business to manage financial operations in a chemical manufacturing and trading environment. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, compliance, and reporting while ensuring accuracy and efficiency through SAP B1.

Key Responsibilities

📊 Financial Accounting

Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations in SAP B1.

Post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual books.

🧪 Industry-Specific Accounting

Track raw material purchases, chemical inventory, and production costs.

Handle excise duty, GST, and other chemical industry-specific compliance.

Maintain costing records for batches and formulations.

📈 Reporting & Analysis

Generate MIS reports, trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet using SAP B1.

Support management with financial analysis and forecasting.

Provide insights into cost optimization and profitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

1–5 years of accounting experience,

Prior experience in chemical manufacturing/trading industry is highly desirable.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of SAP Business One accounting modules.

Familiarity with chemical industry compliance (GST, excise, goods documentation).

Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
