Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies
• Support internal and external audits
• Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, VAT, payroll, etc., as applicable)
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
