Job Description: Account Executive – US/Canada Accounting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Account Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage accounting operations for clients based in the US and Canada, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial services. This role requires strong communication skills, technical expertise in accounting software, and the ability to work during US/Canada business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including bookkeeping, payroll processing, reconciliations, and tax preparation for US/Canada clients.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with US GAAP and Canadian accounting standards.
• Collaborate with CPA firms and bookkeeping partners to deliver high-quality client service.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Manage client communications with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
• Support cross-border accounting files and tax strategies.
• Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to US/Canada clients.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero or other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Canadian accounting practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

• Shift Timing: 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM IST (aligning with US/Canada business hours).
• Flexibility to adjust during peak tax season or client deadlines.
