Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Bookkeeping: Record day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and cash/bank entries using ERP software.
• Inventory Management: Track fabric stock levels, process purchase orders, and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and assist in filing monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and handle TDS calculations and payments.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and verify ledger accounts for both debtors (customers) and creditors (suppliers).
• Invoicing: Generate E-way bills and E-invoices for textile shipments as per statutory requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including Profit & Loss statements and outstanding payment summaries for management review.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• Experience: 0–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a textile or manufacturing firm.
• Software: High proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and textile industry accounting standards.
• Attributes: Strong numerical ability, honesty, and the ability to meet strict filing deadlines.
