. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally/ERP or relevant accounting software.
• Record all financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, trial balance, profit & loss account, and balance sheet.

2. Import–Export Documentation & Finance

• Handle documentation related to imports and exports (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, shipping documents).
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and banks for export/import-related financial settlements.
• Maintain records of foreign currency transactions, advances, and realizations.
• Assist in processing letters of credit (LC), bank guarantees, and export incentives (e.g., RoDTEP, duty drawback).

3. Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• File GST returns, TDS returns, and assist with annual audits.
• Maintain compliance for FEMA and RBI guidelines related to foreign trade transactions.

4. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Track receivables/payables and reconcile accounts with overseas clients and suppliers.
• Assist management with cost analysis, forex fluctuations, and profitability reports.

5. Banking & Treasury

• Manage import/export payments, remittances, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor working capital, overdrafts, and credit facilities.
• Coordinate with banks for packing credit, export finance, and bill discounting.
