Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Indian accounting. The candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Accounts Finalization and be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in accounting software (Tally / similar systems).
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
• Handle GST compliance, including return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliations, and notices.
• Manage TDS compliance, including deduction, challan payment, return filing, and Form 16/16A preparation.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and balance confirmations.
• Assist in financial statements preparation and audit support.
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax and GST laws.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal teams as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
• Required Skills & Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and practices.
• Hands-on experience with GST and TDS.
• Experience in Accounts Finalization.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting tools.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Indian accounting.
• Practical knowledge preferred over certifications.
