Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with Indian taxation and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Tally and have good knowledge of GST and other applicable tax laws in India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP
• Record and verify sales, purchase, expense, and journal entries
• Handle GST compliance, including return filing and reconciliations
• Maintain bank reconciliation statements and cash flow records
• Assist in TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance activities
• Coordinate with external Chartered Accountant and auditors
• Prepare basic financial statements and management reports as required
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of vouchers and bills

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Tally software
• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, basic Income Tax)
• Good understanding of accounting principles and compliance
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance

1–4 years of relevant accounting experience preferred

Freshers with strong accounting and GST knowledge may also be considered
