Accountant

This is a full-time, on-site job for an Junior Accountant at SHYAM INDUSTRIES. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accounts, bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and dealing with audits.

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain and manage accurate accounting records and financial statements.
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory returns and filings.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with management for financial planning and analysis.
• Handle payroll processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP, GST, TDS returns, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or export company is an added advantage.
• Must be willing to commit to a long-term association.
• Preferred residence: Candidates residing near Naroda, Ahmedabad, will be given priority.
