Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Our mission is to collect and recycle over 100 billion cigarette butts that are littered into our environment each year. Through our end-to-end solution, we implement processes for segregation at the source, provide tech-enabled education and awareness, and engage in eco-friendly recycling to create upcycled outdoor utility products.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Buffindia located in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial activities including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budgeting and financial forecasting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience in bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus
