Assistant Manager
Responsibilities
- Planning & project execution, monitoring progress, reviewing contracts, quantity survey, variation of works, making & verification of contractor’s monthly payment certificates.
Developed project baselines; monitored, controlled projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs, quality & safety compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects - Planning Material and resources including deployment of manpower.
- Liaisoning with Government officials, Politicians and Local people for obtaining statutory clearances and approvals.
- Directing construction operations involving leading procurement (tendering / biding, estimations, techno-commercial evaluation & contract negotiation), inviting quotation, conducting codes analysis of rates & stacking / storing raw materials to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Execution of various project activities such as concreting & excavation of various components dam, Coffer Dam, Spillways & stilling basin, Heavy Reinforcement Works & Associated Form Works.
- Underground Excavation (Excavation & Lining of Desilting Chamber, Head Race Tunnel, Silt Flushing Tunnel etc.) and forwarded change requests for updating the project management plan.
Qualifications
- B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 4-6 years of experience
