Assistant Manager - Master Planning (Urban Planner)

Responsibilities

• Develop and update comprehensive port master plans, incorporating zoning, traffic flow, and utility network designs to meet current and future business requirements.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis on demographics, land use, transportation, and environmental factors to inform planning decisions.
• Design and plan infrastructure layouts, including roads, storage zones, and public spaces, ensuring alignment with APSEZ’s operational goals.
• Prepare feasibility studies and detailed project reports for multipurpose port infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, government officials, and community representatives to ensure alignment and seamless project execution.
• Utilize GIS, AutoCAD, and other planning tools to analyze spatial data and create detailed infrastructure layouts.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards in all planning and proposal activities.
• Lead public consultations and incorporate stakeholder feedback into planning and zoning decisions.
• Study and implement traffic and transportation proposals to optimize the economical dispersal of port cargo.
• Review and approve site plans, ensuring adherence to regulatory and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning or a related field.
• Minimum 5-9 years of relevant experience in urban planning, infrastructure design, or port planning.
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and other planning software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance related to road and infrastructure engineering.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
