Job Title:          Assistant Manager - Process Engineer

Reports to:       Deputy General Manager - Engineering & Projects

Role Type:        Individual Contributor

Job Location:   Bavla, Ahmedabad (Nodal Pick-up Drop available from city)

 

 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech.
• Years of experience: Minimum 5 - 10 years of relevant experience

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and release process drawings & bill of materials.
• Working experience in below areas: 
• CAD/CAM software (Creo, NX) 
• Industrializing new products   
• Process development and optimization   

• Drive the New product development,

• Technical feasibility
• ETO Process/ APQP
• Manufacturing process finalization
• Product & Process validation
• Packaging design and improvement
• Well versed with PFMEA

• Define and develop engineering requirement specification for bearing component & assembly.
• Drive the project related to Process Engineering Improvement

• Pure out put & Net out improvement project.
• Improvement for Process de-bottlenecking

• Tooling design

•  New product tooling design and development
• Tooling improvement

• Implementation of CAPEX Project

•  Channel Layout
•  Execution of capacity edition project i.e. New machine, etc.

 

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

• Experience in conceptual design and development activities from end-to-end solution.
• Knowledge on form, fit & functions of a product.
• Understanding of process routings, and inspection plans  
• Knowledge on incorporating manufacturing process methodology in Creo, Drawing release process and ECM Process.
• Experience in application of measurement principles for manufacturing & other process.
• Proficiency in manufacturing & machining processes.

Desirable Skill:

• Knowledge in product lines their applications.
• Proficiency in Project Management & its value to the business processes.
• Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Process
• Knowledge of different six sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DFSS, etc.) and tools; and,
