Assistant Manager-Technology (QA)

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing of digital platforms, including the Adani One Super App.
• Collaborate with development, product, and design teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage for all features and functionalities.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify and resolve software defects.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
• Monitor and report on software quality metrics, ensuring alignment with Adani Digital Labs' commitment to world-class user experiences.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement preventive measures to improve software quality.
• Stay updated on the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve testing processes.
• Support the deployment of digital platforms by conducting pre-release testing and ensuring readiness for production environments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices within the organization.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in manual and automated testing, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in QA roles.
• Proficiency in QA tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, or similar.
• Hands-on experience in testing mobile applications, web platforms, and APIs.

Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced certifications in QA methodologies or tools (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Software Tester) are preferred.

Years & Type of Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in QA roles, with a focus on manual and automated testing in digital platforms.
• Experience in testing large-scale consumer-facing applications, preferably in the digital transformation or technology sector.
