Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial, automotive, EV, energy storage, telecom, and backup power segments.
  • Achieve sales targets through effective planning, customer engagement, and negotiation.
  • Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, competitor activity, and emerging trends.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, system integrators, dealers, and key accounts.
  • Appointment of Dealers and Distributors

Service-to-Sales Transition

  • Leverage service experience to understand customer pain points and convert service interactions into sales opportunities.
  • Support customers with technical clarification, application understanding, and product selection.
  • Coordinate with service, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.

 

Product & Application Support

  • Understand battery products including Lead Acid / Lithium-ion batteries, BMS, chargers, and related applications.
  • Assist customers in application-based solution selling (UPS, EVs, solar, ESS, industrial backup, etc.).
  • Support product demonstrations, trials, and site visits when required.

Customer Support & Coordination

  • Act as a single point of contact for assigned customers from enquiry to order closure and after-sales support.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints in coordination with service and quality teams.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and MIS reports.



Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Techno-commercial understanding of battery systems.
  • Customer-focused approach with problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for sales and customer support.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with service, production, and R&D teams.
